Piano moving poses its unique set of challenges. First, the piano's size, weight, and non-symmetrical design make it different than moving standard large object such as furniture. Secondly, piano are generally quite expensive, and therefore must be handled with extra care in order to prevent the occurrence scratches or damage that can decrease its value. Because of these constraints, moving a piano requires both special equipment and techniques that not every moving company has.
Before moving your piano, we will ask you a few questions so that we can better understand the task. This includes knowing the model, the approximate weight/size, the value of the instrument, and whether you will need the piano moved to or from a non-first floor location.
